Beware of false prophets

which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

The so-called QPOA (Quartzsite Police Officers Association) fundraisers are NOT raising money for police officers.  They are raising money for a LABOR UNION.  A labor union that tried, unsuccessfully to overthrow the chief of police for their own advancement and to advance nefarious political plans of others to cause the disincorporation of Quartzsite.

If you approve of false pretenses, if you approve of socialism, if you want to bring down the town of Quartzsite, then, by all means, give them money.  Give them all the money you have.  Steal if you must to support them.  I beg you.

If, on the other hand, you’d rather have a police officer available when you call 911 rather than than a single sheriff’s deputy that you share with Ehrenberg and Cibola; if you’d rather have the chance to vote on all seven people who will decide the fate of your town than just one person who is as concerned about the part of town you live in as he or she is about Wenden, Salome and Vicksburg or about Ehrenberg and Cibola and who has only a third say in what happens to you and your neighbors; if you own real property and cannot survive having to absorb the town’s debt; then maybe you should hold onto your pennies.  If the forces bent on destroying the town of Quartzsite prevail, you will need them.
